03 Nov 2023From October 27th to 28th, the 2023 Annual Meeting of the China Stone Material Association Artificial Stone Committee and the Seminar on High-Quality Application and Technological Development of Artificial Stone, organized by the China Stone Material Association and co-organized by the Laibin Municipal People's Government, Laibin Global Classic New Building Materials Co., Ltd., and KEDA Industrial Group, was successfully held in Laibin, Guangxi.
The meeting was attended by more than 100 participants, including the Executive Vice President of the China Stone Material Association, Zigang QI, the Secretary-General, Weixing SUN, the Deputy Secretary-General, Jing TIAN, as well as experts from the association and colleagues from artificial stone and related companies from all over China.
As one of the co-organizers of this conference, Mr. Zhigang SONG, the General Manager of KEDA Stone Machinery, Mr. Zhinian ZHANG, the Marketing Director, and Mr. Chaowen ZOU, the Marketing Center Manager, attended the meeting, where they shared insights and engaged in discussions.
The meeting officially commenced at 8:30 in the morning at the multifunctional hall of Laibin Global. First, Deputy Secretary-General Jing TIAN announced the start of the meeting and presented the agenda. The meeting also reviewed and approved proposals to appoint deputy directors, standing committee members, and expert committee members, released industry information exchange mechanisms, and announced the first batch of information liaison officers. It reported the major tasks of the Artificial Stone Association and the Committee for 2023.
Following this, leaders including Mr. Shaofang WANG, Chairman of Pengxiang Industrial Co., Ltd., Ms. Wen WANG, General Manager of Runfeng New Material, and Mr. Zhigang SONG, General Manager of KEDA Stone Machinery, and Mr. Zhinian ZHANG, Marketing Director, and other leaders exchanged ideas and provided suggestions on improving the quality of artificial stone products, the global market for artificial stone enterprises, and development trends. The representatives expressed that they all benefited significantly from these discussions. Finally, Secretary-General Weixing SUN provided a comprehensive summary of the importance of the industry information exchange mechanism and the new goals of the building materials industry.
Subsequently, the representatives visited the complete production line project for cement base artificial marble blocks of Laibin Global Classic New Building Materials Co., Ltd. This project is initiated by KEDA Stone Machinery and China Resources Cement (Laibin). It represents the world's first intelligent production line in the stone industry, designed to set the highest standards and serve as an industry benchmark.
This project boasts the highest capacity and the most advanced fully automated cement base artificial marble blocks production line in the industry. It significantly increases production efficiency while reducing the need for manual labor, drawing a direct comparison to the automation in the cement industry's factories. This production line is also the first in the industry to introduce AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) for the transfer of semi-finished and finished products, achieving precise positioning and unmanned automatic handling.
In addition to achieving full automation in the complete production line, the standout feature of this production line is the introduction of an intelligent control system. This system integrates the latest information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, microservices, and mobile applications into the stone manufacturing process. It connects and integrates all aspects of the stone industry, including management processes, production, machinery, quality, energy, and cost. This integration supports lean management for companies, drives industrial informatization and intelligence, facilitates digital transformation and upgrading for enterprises, and brings a revolutionary change in the management model to the stone industry.
At 2:30 PM, the high-quality application and technological development seminar for artificial stone officially began. Mr. Zhinian ZHANG, the Marketing Director of KEDA Stone Machinery, delivered a detailed presentation on Technological Innovation and Application of Artificial Stone Machinery. Mr. Shaofang WANG, the Chairman of Pengxiang Industrial Co., Ltd., discussed Product Innovation and Application: Quality Innovation, Application, and Promotion of Recycled Stone. Ms. Wen WANG, the General Manager of Runfeng New Material, shared insights on Innovation and Application of RUNPIN. Simultaneously, association leaders and business leaders at the conference called for closer collaboration with architects and designers to jointly promote the healthy and thriving development of the artificial stone industry.
