On March 19, the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society convened a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting at KEDA Industrial Group's headquarters. The "Key Technologies for Multi-Source, High-Content Solid Waste-Based Cellular Ceramics and High-Efficiency Energy-Saving Roller Kiln" Project, jointly completed by the Ceramic R&D Institute of KEDA Industrial Group and Foshan KEDA Industrial was officially reviewed.

The appraisal committee concluded that the project demonstrates strong innovation and that its overall technology has reached an internationally leading level. The project has successfully passed the appraisal.

Key innovations include:
(1) Developed advanced process technologies for multi-source, high-content solid waste-based cellular ceramics. This significantly increases the proportion of solid waste materials and enables high-value, eco-friendly utilization.
(2) Established a dedicated firing process for multi-source, high-content solid waste-based cellular ceramics. This ensures uniform foaming of the body, enhances product quality, and meets diverse production requirements.
(3) Engineered a high-efficiency, energy-saving roller kiln tailored to the production of multi-source, high-content solid waste-based cellular ceramic, along with a double-layer kiln cooling system and a high-temperature lifting mechanism. This innovation shortens production cycles, significantly boosts output, and greatly reduces energy consumption.
