KEDA (Anhui) Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "KEDA Smart Energy") and Ma'anshan Jingwei Slewing Ring Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Jingwei") have recently sealed the deal for a 5.6MW distributed photovoltaic (DPV) turnkey project.
With the project contract signed by Jun TANG, Vice General Manager of Jingwei New Energy Drive Equipment, and Liang MA, Executive Vice General Manager of KEDA Smart Energy, the stage is set for the project to kick off in full swing. Jingwei's 5.6MW distributed PV project will follow a "self-generation for self-consumption with surplus electricity feeding into the grid" approach. Once completed, it is estimated to generate a whopping 6.18 million kWh of electricity annually, resulting in a significant reduction of 5,199 tons of carbon emissions and the substitution of 1,901.71 tons of standard coal. Over the course of 25 years, it is projected to produce a staggering 154.56 million kWh of electricity, curbing carbon emissions by a remarkable 129,984.96 tons and replacing 47,542.66 tons of standard coal. The two parties have also set their sights on collaborating in the field of cutting-edge new energy technologies, including the development of solar tracking systems.
Jingwei, a Chinese national "little giant" company and a proud recipient of the "National High-tech Enterprise" title, is renowned for its expertise in designing, developing, and manufacturing a wide range of products such as wind turbine main bearings, yaw bearings, pitch bearings, PV slewing reducers, and engineering machinery slewing bearings. Its products are highly sought-after in the solar power generation, wind power generation, and various engineering machinery markets, not only within numerous provinces in China but also in international markets, including Europe and America. With accolades such as the Anhui Provincial Certification of Enterprise Technology Center and the Anhui Provincial Worm Gear Drive Engineering Technology Research Center under its belt, Jingwei has successfully undertaken and completed several critical scientific research and construction projects, including the prestigious Torch Program and China’s "Front Runner" PV Demonstration Base. All these achievements have solidified its position among the industry leaders.
The signing of this collaboration agreement between KEDA Smart Energy and Jingwei not only paves the way for deeper exchange and expanded partnership but also serves as a powerful catalyst for driving the development of the new energy industry in Ma'anshan. Together, they are determined to make a substantial contribution to the realization of a sustainable future through low-carbon energy transformation.
